A full stack MERN application with Google Maps API and a login system using jsonwebtoken, bcryptjs, and joi. This app allows a user to save pictures of trips they have taken on a UI map with pins dropped in the locations they were taken! Hosted on Heroku.
PrintPick is a site that give you a wide array of 3D printers and brands to filter. A React application that accepts an array of 3D printer brand objects and distributes them throughout the site. Adding a new printer to the site takes about 10 seconds and can be used with a database. Styled with Sass. Hosted on Firebase.
A full stack MERN application for finding new books to read. The user can create an account (with email or signing in with google) and save books to a personal list. Search for a book by author, genre, title, publisher, or just hit the random button and see what you find! All authentication is done with auth0. This application was inspired by the subreddit 'r/suggestmeabook'. Hosted on Heroku.

Over the last several years I have begun to refine my craft in code and design. I enjoy meeting new people, learning new things, and the satisfaction of a job well done.
After 5 years in the HVAC/R industry learning construction and how large buildings operate, I was ready to expand my knowledge into tech. I want to understand the things we are surrounded with on a daily basis to see where the faults lie. As my knowledge transitions from the physical world to the digital world I find myself seeing countless problems with a software solution.
